Sr. Patricia Ann Murray, OSF
Sr. Pat is ABLE Families' Executive Director. Originally from the western suburbs of Chicago, she is a graduate of Dominican University, in River Forest, Illinois, and lived for nine years in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Sr. Pat is a member of the Franciscan Sisters of the Sacred Heart. She now lives in Warfield, Kentucky, with fellow community member Sr. Therese Carew, who is the Program Coordinator of Christian Help.
Daphne Armstrong
Daphne is the Office Manager for both ABLE Families and our sister agency, Christian Help of Mingo County. She grew up in the area and brings a decade of experience working in local banks. She says she's very happy to be working now with agencies that make such a positive difference in people's lives. Daphne and her husband have three children and one grandchild. They live in Kermit, WV, where they attend Lighthouse Community Church.
Gina
Pirozzi
Gina is ABLE Families Education Coordinator. She grew up on Long Island. She graduated from Marywood University in Scranton, PA with a dual degree in Early Childhood/Special Education. She has a Masters of Education Degree in Community Art from Lesley University. Gina spent two years volunteering in the area through Christian Appalachian Project and had a strong desire to return to the area when she completed her Masters Degree.
Jimmy
Owsley
Jimmy comes to us as a volunteer from Christian Appalachian Project. He will be working with our adult students this year as they try to improve their lives by furthering their education.
